If you are able to login with your user name and password but logged out after short period of time, check the following items:

Correct System Time Settings
It is very important that your system time and timezone are set correctly. -
Cookie Settings
In order to stay logged in, cookies need to be enabled in your browser settings.
Use the cookie test page to find out if the settings are correct.

Proxy Settings
When using an internet proxy to access the internet make sure the cookies are passed through. You might have to talk to the nice IT guy to find out if everything is ok.

Wireless/Public Internet Connection
Using a wireless or public internet connection can force a logout every time a disconnect happens. Using a wired connection is preferred.

Alternative Browser
If you are using Internet Explorer, check if Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome has the same problem.
