Do I need any special equipment - hardware or software?
No, you simply need a laptop or PC, an Internet connection and a browser. TrialNet is entirely web-based.

What do I need to do to set up my computer to access the network? Does TrialNet have any required browser settings or software support?
Browser settings: TrialNet recommends Netscape Navigator 3.0 or later or MS Internet Explorer 4.0 or later. Earlier versions do not support some of the programming features of TrialNet and will not allow you to perform some functions.
Software support: If you want to view MS Word or Word Perfect documents maintained in TrialNet's databases, you will need the appropriate Microsoft or Corel software on your computer to open the documents stored on TrialNet's servers. If you want to view a PDF document, you will need to install a current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader software on your computer. It can be downloaded for free from Adobe's site: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

What is the required speed for my Internet connection? Can I access TrialNet through a dial-up or modem connection?
There is no required speed. TrialNet can be accessed from any dial-up or modem connection as well as via high speed such as DSL or cable. Of course, uploading and downloading large documents on a dial-up connection may take longer.

How do I log into TrialNet?
Establish your connection to the Internet
Go to http://www.trialnet.com
Click "Member Login"
Type in your "User Name" and "Password"
Press the key on your keyboard or click OK

How do I get my password information?
You will be sent a subscription form to fill out, to identify those members of your firm who work for the sponsoring client and who will need TrialNet access. Once TrialNet receives your form, it will provide you with unique passwords and user names for each of your firm's members who are authorized to access your client's network.

Will TrialNet provide any training?
Yes. When TrialNet receives your subscription form, an email will be sent to all designated members indicating dates and times available for training. Each individual can then respond with what works best for him or her. TrialNet will initiate the call for the training date(s). The date/time should be coordinated as a group to the extent possible; however we realize that not everyone can attend at the same time.

If I still need help, whom do I call/contact?
TrialNet provides toll free phone support during extended business hours and online support 24/7. Call TrialNet's toll free help line at 888-512-1763 or contact TrialNet's Customer Support at support@trialnet.com.

Are there any restrictions on when or where I can access TrialNet's networks? Is there a limit to or charge for the number of times I access the network in a day or month?
TrialNet's networks can be accessed from any laptop or PC in any location, as long as the TrialNet member has an Internet connection, a browser and his or her authorized Password and User Name. TrialNet can be accessed 24/7 an unlimited number of times a day, a month or a year without additional costs. The annual subscription fee is all that is due for this service.
