Founded in 1996, TrialNet was a pioneer in collaborative networks. TrialNet was built by and for lawyers who, as national coordinating counsel for several Fortune 100 clients, needed a better way to coordinate outside counsel in tort litigation. Our founders believed Internet technology would provide the means for achieving greater efficiency and effectiveness, enabling them to set up secure networks through which outside and corporate counsel could share essential information instantly.

TrialNet's collaborative networks became the standard for enabling corporate law departments to share information with their outside counsel on a client/ team level; a multiple defendant/ joint defense level; or even on an industry level.

In 2000, TrialNet added web-based matter management functionality, becoming the first collaborative network system to host a truly integrated matter management solution, complete with document and calendar management tools.

In 2002, TrialNet acquired PeerPoint Technologies, a leading provider of legal e billing software. TrialNet transformed this popular software solution into a streamlined web-based service which integrates fully with TrialNet's collaborative and matter management components.
