It's easy to start winning with efficient billing. Here's the process we'll follow to get you up and running.
- TrialNet will provide you with a Contractual Agreement for your review and signature.
- Immediately upon deciding to implement E-billing service, we'll schedule a date for Requirements Meeting
- You will provide TrialNet with a point of contact, a list of in-house employees that will need access to system, and a list of outside counsel.
- You will provide TrialNet with a billing review hierarchy (each step of process by which invoice reviewed & approved) and identify where each of your individual employees fit within hierarchy.
- You will provide TrialNet with a list of billing rules/ guidelines and any custom codes to be used in e-billing audits. You will also provide a copy of current billing guidelines, if available.
- A requirements meeting will be held at your office to address customizations of the extranet. Customizations will begin immediately following the meeting.
- Together, we'll determine the data transfer method and schedule the data transfer of current case/matter information as well as firm/ TK billing profiles.
- You will determine invoice dispute resolution options.
- We'll determine a process from invoice approval to accounts payable and data transfer protocols/ required data fields for your AC and CM systems
- We will determine data archive protocols
- You will provide budget criteria - i.e., who prepares at what level; what criteria are budgeted; what notifications are needed for budget approval, budget flags, etc.
- You will provide us your company logo in either tiff, gif or jpg format.
- We'll complete the customizations and provide you with access for review and testing.
- Your team will review the site and revise/approve all customizations.
- TrialNet will set up a date and time for on site training of your in-house staff.
- You will send a letter to all counsel advising of the implementation of TrialNet's E-billing services, and what is expected of them.
- TrialNet will send a letter to all counsel approximately 2 weeks after your letter advising of TrialNet's services and enclosing a subscription form and brochure with further information about TrialNet.
- TrialNet will travel to your office for training.
- Upon receipt of the firm subscription form, TrialNet will set up firm members for access to the site and will contact the firm to set up training date.
- On-line support will be available 24/7 during entire contractual period for all client and law firm members.
E billing implementations typically take three to four months, but can be as swift as eight weeks from contract
signing. The amount and significance of your requested customizations, as well as data conversion frequently determine
the speed of your implementation.
